In a moving display of loyalty and love, a stray dog in Azerbaijan stayed by his injured mate's side after she was hit by a car, refusing to leave her even as people walked by without stopping to help.

The heartbreaking scene was captured in a video shared by the YouTube channel Pets In Love. The male dog can be seen sitting quietly, watching over his motionless partner, clearly distressed and unsure of what to do. Though his cries for help went unanswered at first, he never gave up.
