Once facing the grim reality of death row at a high-kill shelter in Arizona, Gilbert's life took a dramatic turn thanks to Tickled Pink Weimaraner Rescue and its devoted volunteers.

Discovered roaming in the sweltering Arizona heat, Gilbert was severely burdened by a large tumor that hindered his movement.

He was urgently taken to a veterinary clinic, where he received immediate blood transfusions and surgery to remove the threatening tumor.
